The conference is intended to gather international researchers and practitioners and will be publicised through the external network and be open to external contributions. Its organisation will give this event a “federation” or partnership role in the development of cultural tourism policies by local authorities. The publishing of the proceedings will contribute to the dissemination of the research’s conclusions and the future prospects it offers.
A special effort will be devoted towards the dissemination of research results towards the wider International community. Small and medium sized cities outside the European Union will therefore be invited to the conference.
After the conference, the minutes and proceedings will be published and an interactive forum will be organised on the PICTURE web site, which will notably allow us to monitor the project’s impact. Also, all this information will be available on DVD format for its subsequent distribution.
