This volume analyse the itineraries of Emily and Lombardy of the Via Francigena, considering the step between Cisa Pas (Bardone Mountain) and Vercelli.
The itinerary which is proposed here touches the territory of Padania and its aim is to invite to consider the traits of Middle Age of the ancient route, to discover the tracks. Moreover, the modern pilgrim will recognize the stop places and the stop of spiritual and material rest, which scanned pilgrim’s steps in the Middle Age.
The itinerary is divided in five parts, there are also maps to localise the principal testimonies of the ancient pilgrimage.
At the end, there is a short excursus about products and specialities of the traditional Medieval food. |
