Interview with the dance teacher

Cristina:I understood that all started from a photo. What is the link between the dance and the photos?
Teacher:Indeed,I tried to rebuilt the images which I have seen in the photos. If you put them together they form a choreographic harmony.

Cristina:What have you tried to express by using dance and music.
Teacher:War scenes.

Cristina:How do you think the public will react and in which way they will be influenced by this dance?
Teacher:I don't know.It depends from a person to another.

Bianca:How can you characterise your tempo?
Teacher:The rythm is in a staccato style and the moves are mixed to express better the ideea of war.

Bianca:Do your students learn easily?
Teacher:Yes,because there is a rythm and the children have already in their minds the image of war shown in the photos.

From war to dance

Interview with a student from the dance workshop

Bianca:The dance workshop was your first option?
Cinzia:No,I had chosen the theatre workshop, but I have discovered that dancing is very amusing.

Bianca:How do you get along with the other students?
Cinzia:Very well. I talk with them and we laugh in certain moments of the dance, when we have to act like Marilyn Monroe.

Cristina:What do you feel when you are dancing, when you know that through your dance you must suggest war scenes?
Cinzia:I try to offer people through body and moves the image of war. I was very happy when some of my friends told me that I succeded in this thing.
