The national Library is the biggest scientific library of Luxemburg: it is 'encyclopaedic', which means all the disciplines are represented, the main accent being nevertheless put on Letters and the Human and Social Sciences. The general Collection gives readers about 750 000 volumes and 3500 titles of international periodicals of any disciplines. 30 000 volumes are in free access in reference and reading rooms. The general Collection knows an annual average increase about 10 000 volumes. OPENING HOURS: Library: from tuesday to friday: from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm - saturday: from 9 am to 12 am.
