After « Ma ville en Europe », european urban route already created in several cities of the region Pays de la Loire, Graine d'Europe is launching « My european City » together with its european partners in Poland, Italy and Romania.

| Who is Graine d’Europe ? |
The association Graine d'Europe contributes since 2004 to the awareness raising of Europe through culture and arts.
Graine d’Europe works on the field with diverse publics : schools, young people, all public, etc. to make the curiosity grow in each of us.

| Ma ville en Europe, what is it about? |
As Graine d’Europe noticed, european citizenship is too far from the preoccupations of daily life, the project « Ma ville en Europe » wants to highlight the fact that “Europe is just here next to you, just have a look� ! in the streets, the facades, the names etc.
Nantes
The investigation work started in Nantes. Since 2005 , a guided visit, a free visit and a treasure hunt lead the citizens to the discovery of European dimension in Nantes through its construction, architecture, its economis activity, its past history etc.

After Nantes have come Angers, Laval, Le Mans,
After the Pays de la Loire, the european adventure was just obvious !!!!

My european city is the natural development of Ma ville en Europe.
Thanks to the experience in Nantes, Le Mans, Laval and Angers and the innovatives and new practices of each territory, three new urban European routes will be created in Europe.
The associations Xena (Padova, Italy), Mioritics (Sibiu, Romania) et Polites (Szczecin, Poland) are joining the adventure !

From August 2010 to July 2011, the project, supported by the European Commission, will held several meetings :
September 2010 : First meeting in Nantes between all the partners : definition of broad objectives, creation of the network and of the advertising tools, testimonies of what have already been created in the region Pays de la Loire, definition of the working tracks of the partners and the launch of the research work on every territory
> December 2010 : Second meeting in Sibiu : Presentation and analysis of the researches led on each territories and definition of the formats of European tours for each partner (guided tours, educational notebook, publication, treasure hunt)
> February 2011: Third meeting in Padua: Launch of the creation of the web site and definition of the programming in May 9th on every territory
> May 2011: Launch of the conducted tours or the publications simultaneously in each partner cities, on the occasion of the Day of Europe. Launch of the web site " My european city " presenting the European tours of the partners by means of the virtual visits.
> June 2011 : Last meeting in Szczecin with closing conference of the project: presentation of the evaluation, the multipliers effects and tracks of development of the project in the other cities in Europe.
