Holidays in Europe

The Schengen countries or “Schengener Eck includes the towns of Perl, Remerschen, Wellenstein and Apach. In this region of the Moselle Valley, Germany, France and Luxembourg form what is known as the Countries of Three Borders.
24 years after the signing of the Schengen agreement, the
Schengen countries have been presented as a region for tourists to visit and be surprised at both its similarities and the charms which make it so diverse. You can pass from one country to the next without even realising.

“View of Europe (“Blick auf Europa) is the slogan of Perl town which seems to be entirely true given its geographic position. Three countries, three cultures and three mentalities – all in close proximity.

‘‘Panoramaweg’’- a footpath beyond the borders

The ''Panoramaweg'' offers a spectacular view of the Moselle valley and takes us into the transborder nature reserve of Hammelsberg, where visitors can observe butterflies slip between the numerous orchids which flower from late April to June.

The title of “Deutches Wandersigel, a label of quality, has been given to the “panaramaweg
- Length of the journey: 8.3 km
- Time it takes to complete the walk: 3 hours
- Requirements: average fitness
- Signage: red ‘P’ on green grapes
