From the 1st June till the 2nd September 2012, 20 monographs of modern and contemporary artists will be shown on these territories. More than the artworks, everybody is invited to discover the hosting sites. This project aims at (re)discovering the exceptional venues which offer a real rich cultural heritage in the Greater Region.
The MONO Pass allows to get discounts to visit the exhibitions and gives free access to bus shuttles on Saturdays to reach the different exhibitions venues.
On the occasion of this large cross-border cooperation, workshops of cultural journalism will be offered to the youth of Luxembourg, Saar, Rheinland-Pfalz, Lorraine and the French and German speaking communities of Belgium. The association Cultural space Greater Region invites ten participants between 16 and 30 years old to discover the every day work in Centre Pompidou-Metz, MUDAM in Luxemburg and the world culture heritage Völklinger Hütte. They will even have the chance to get a look in backstage. Professionals will help the young journalists to write articles and making podcasts, photos and videos. The results will be published on www.grrrrr.eu , the youth cultural portal of the Greater Region. |
