On the 2nd of September 2012 the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ) organizes the 13th European Day of Jewish Culture.
The primary goal of this project is to offer to the broad public the possibility to discover the tangible as well as intangible heritage (synagogues, cemeteries, ritual baths, etc.) and the traditions of Judaism. The programme will encompass especially organised events: open - doors in usually closed locations, tours, exhibitions, lectures and concerts.
Beyond this extraordinary day devoted to the encounter with the public, the organisers wish to promote and help preserve the Jewish heritage, which is an integral part of Europe's cultural heritage. |
