The Iter Vitis route has reopened the website, www.itervitis.eu, which now has a new style, both graphically and in its content.
With the information about the association and the project, the visitor is also able to visit the pages dedicated to the vineyard and wine routes, its novelties and the meetings, but there is still a depth, curiosities (like for example The consular routes of the wine, wine and the church, vineyards in literature and art, vineyards in towns, and more…) and suggestions, organised archives, such as books and guides, vineyard and wine museums and libraries and general documents of interest.
A section from cultural wine sites which have already been registered on the World Heritage list of UNESCO, a selection of countries will be put forward, characterised by their grape variety, oenological, cultural and religious traditions.
A section of the site will be reserved for the representatives of organisations associated with Iter Vitis, who will be able to publish events, meetings and links to each route. A facebook page will allow the public on the social network to express their feelings on the proposed themes, linked to Iter Vitis routes and monitor activities of the Association.
Photos, videos and links will complete this submission of information, which will be constantly updated.
The website will also be available in English and French.

«A more complete and dynamic presence – as Paolo Benvenuti wishes, President of the Board of Iter Vitis and the Director of the National Association of Città del Vino – favouring internal communication between the representatives of the countries concerned with the project and the promotion to the internet public on routes which will be part of the Iter Vitis Route. The creation of an archive the sharing of this via the internet if a precious tool for the finalities which would drive the association : recovery of historical rural traditional memory and the development of the vineyards and the wine around historical, artistic and social themes of interest». |
