Anca Berlogea, director says a few words on it : "Men and women of the XXth century are fighting against a totalitarism Regime of Eastern Europe. They want freedom. They want to express themselves freely. They want to keep life going on. But it is forbidden.
One night...different from the other nights. Young people have been killed. Crosses are erected. Voices can be heard. One prays..This is a Night of History close to another Night in History... Two thousands years before. James, the apostle has been killed. Peter is in a prison. Their companions are searching for protection.
They are confronted to death. They are condemned to oblivion. They want to keep memory alive...
The group of actors will go to Santiago de Compostela..."
This performance will be presented during this Summer along the way to Compostela. A good occasion for many pilgrimways sites to leave the pseudo-reconstitutions of Middle Ages and to be confronted to contemporary realities... |
